Tarun Tahilani – Designer of Wedding Clothes
Tarun Tahiliani is one of India’s most famous designers, especially of wedding clothes. In addition to creating exquisite clothes for weddings, he has also branched out into designing the entire décor for Indian wedding. He did the décor for the Munjal wedding and Sanjeev Nanda’s Sangeet.
Tarun Tahiliani is a Doon school alumini and a Business Management graduate from Wharton School of Business. He started designing clothes in the mid 80s. He was among the first Indians to open a high fashion boutique called “Ensemble” in Mumbai. Tarun Tahiliani has held his shows in India, New York, Milan, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dubai, Karachi, Moscow and Singapore. He is the first Indian designer to be invited to display his designs at the prestigious Milan Fashion Week in 2003.
Tarun Tahiliani’s clothes are available at 12 stores in India which are located at Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai. Internationally, his clothes are available in London, New York, Tokyo, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Holland.

Neeta Lulla is a popular Indian designer, stylist who also designs costumes for films. She designed clothes for over 350 movies and has won many awards for costume design. Famous movies that she has worked on include Devdas, Jodhaa Akbar, What’s Your Raashee, Baabul, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Kisna: The Warrior Poet, Yaadein, Chandralekha, Daar, Heer Ranjha, Khuda Gawah, Chandni. Neeta Lulla’s daughter Niksha Lulla assists her mother in designing clothes. At her two story signature store in Mumbai, Neeta Lulla has one entire level only for bridal clothes.
